National Museum of the Village "Dimitrie Gusti" (Muzeul National al Satului "Dimitrie Gusti") founded in 1936.
On the premises of the museum there are farms, peasant houses, craft workshops, Orthodox churches, a chapel, an inn with interior furnishings such as furniture, ceramics, fabrics, tools. Most of the buildings are 17th to 20th century originals from all over Romania.
The permanent exhibition includes 123 separate complexes, which include 363 architectural monuments and over 50,000 artifacts.
The exhibition area is approximately 12.5 ha.

Kazan Kremlin erected by the Tsar of Russia Ivan Grozny in the 16th century on the ruins of the former castle of the Kazan khans built from the 10th century.

The museum in its present shape as the Museum-reserve "Kazan Kremlin" was established in 1994. The entire museum complex includes:

The Multimedia Art Museum, Moscow (MAMM) began in 1996 as the Moscow House of Photography.
MAMM is a state institution that specializes in contemporary art (graphics, drawings and posters) and new media, including photography, video art, and other multimedia forms. Its collection includes works by artists such as Alexander Rodchenko. The total number of exhibits is approximately 90,000.
MAMM covers an area of approximately 9,000 square meters, of which approximately 3,000 square meters are devoted to exhibitions.

Tsarskoe Selo (the Tsarskoe Selo State Museum and Heritage Site) was the summer residence of the Russian Tsars. Expanded from the beginning of the 18th century to the beginning of the 20th century. The main buildings of the residential complex are Catherine Palace erected in the style of Russian Baroque and the classical Alexander Palace. There was now a lost Amber Room in Catherine Palace. Currently, the reconstruction can be visited at Catherine Palace. In the palace-and-park ensemble of Tsarskoe Selo covering an area of 300 hectares, there are scattered over one hundred historical monuments.
In 1918, Catherine Palace was opened as a museum.

The State Hermitage Museum has been open to the public since 1852.
The entire collection is more than 3 million artifacts, including 1 million numismatic items.
The State Hermitage Museum presents monuments of culture and art of ancient Egypt and Greece as well as gold of the Scythians. The Hermitage collection includes two paintings by Leonardo da Vinci and the largest collection of Rembrandt paintings outside the Netherlands. The decoration of the collection is the paintings of Impressionists and post-Impressionists. The Hermitage has in its resources a rich collection of Asian art; Central Asian art collection attracts special attention. An important part of the collection is Russian art covering the period from the 11th to the 19th century.

The Russian Museum was founded in 1895.
He presents Russian art from the 10th to the 21st century. The museum's collection contains over 400,000 exhibits - it is the world's largest collection of Russian art. In the museum you can see, for example, the first version of the painting "The Black Square" by Kazimir Malevich.
The Russian Museum also houses the collections of the Ludwig Museum. The Russian Museum has a branch in Málaga, Spain.
The museum complex of the Russian Museum includes the Mikhailovsky Palace and Benois Wing, the Mikhailovsky Castle, the Stroganov Palace, St Michael's (Engineers) Castle, the Marble Palace, Peter I’s Summer Palace, Cabin of Peter the Great and Mikhailovsky Gardens, Engineering Gardens, Summer Garden. The area of the entire complex is over 30 hectares.
